Staff - Dr Martin Mhando

Dr Martin Mhando has directed 3 feature films and over 6 documentaries. His most recent film Maangamizi (2000), a feature film shot in Africa, has won a number of awards and was selected by Tanzania as its 2002 Oscar entry for the Best Foreign Film. Martin comes from an industry background and now combines technical skills with aesthetic applications through his work at Murdoch University.

He is currently working with the Office of Multicultural Interests WA to produce a series of videos.

Martin has highly developed skills in the areas of research, training and facilitation. This is supported by his nomination for Murdoch University teaching awards for three years running.
